Crystal Bar Soap are a cruelty-free and vegan brand from Canada that specialises in crafting soaps and bath bombs. What makes this brand so unique is that each product, whether it's a soap or bomb, contains a handpicked crystal inside. Each product has a recipe that compliments the crystal embedded within, which will be revealed after using it.
I have to say before talking about each product individually that conversing with Crystal Bar Soap through email was one of the pleasantest experiences I've ever had. Kat and Brandon were so lovely and they personalised each message towards me and my blog, which was so refreshing.
So what did I get? I chose the Mother Earth bath bomb and the Spirit of Eternity soap and I was so surprised when I got the package (which btw only took an impressive 13 days to arrive) to receive two mini soaps to enjoy as well.
I'll start with the bath bomb. Honestly, I was a little worried that it wouldn't make the journey and I would open the box to find a plethora of blue and green dust. I needn't have doubted. The bomb was packaged tight in plastic and was perfectly fine when I went to use it. The Mother Earth bath bomb contains rosewood and coconut and my skin felt so soft after I got out of the bath. Once the bomb had fizzed out I was left with a magical labradorite crystal and honestly the picture below doesn't do it justice. This bath bomb retails at $5.50 which I think is so affordable considering there is nothing like it on the market.
Next is the three soaps. I received a full size "Spirit of Eternity" soap and two mini soaps as well. Can we just stop and admire at how beautiful each one is?!? Each soap contains a myriad of ingredients like cedarwood, coconut and poppy seeds which acts as a natural exfoliant. I love the concept of the crystal hidden in the soap. The soap is so gentle on the skin and not drying at all which tends to happen with some bar soaps. I believe it would be perfectly suited to people with sensitive skin but just in case, feel free to check out the ingredients here. With each use you can see the crystal clearer and clearer until you can finally reach it. The full-size soaps retails at $9.50 and I believe the smaller ones are significantly cheaper but I will double check.
My mind has been awakened to the world of crystals and one's chakra and I truly enjoyed investigating each crystal and what it's energy could do for me. I'm just so obsessed with this concept and the fact that this brand is also cruelty free makes it all the more worthwhile.
